A perl script for sizing Sawmill Creek style cutting boards

I’m lazy and like to use computers to do things for me, so I threw this together quickly. =) I wanted to make some Sawmill Creek style cutting boards, sized to fit in a medium flat rate box, and didn’t feel like doing the math. (Cutting board tutorial here: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/articles/2/) The length doesn’t matter, but you need to take into account kerf size and such when figuring how much wood you need to make these, and I made it calculate the blade offset for each cut as well.
