Part 1: Got it started Babe!
This blog is mostly for my Daughter and Son-in-Law they live just outside of Dallas. I’ll be building a changing table and crib for my new grand daughter that’s due in November. I’m just getting started even though it was ordered way back when they first found out. I’ve been working seven days a week trying to keep up with our regular clients. The tops are Walnut FC and banded with a 2” wide piece of walnut that has a partial bullnose ran on it. Under the edge of the top is another mold that is 1” tall, its the base mold inverted. Here is a close up. Here is a...
Part 4: Door & Drawer Fronts
I finally got all the fronts put together. The drawer fronts have wider side styles to match the styles and rails on the door. All of the have raised panels except fot the one small drawer front at the top of the tower. Its to small for a raised panel so I just made it a flat panel. The panels have a bead running around them to, to go along with the beaded openings. Here’s a close up of the frame and panel. Here’s a couple full view pictures of the project. Al...
