Location On Buy & Swap Forum - 2 replies
Is there any way we can ask those who participate on the Buy & Swap tools etc forum to place their location in the title line? I’d might be very interested in a cabinet saw say in St Louis but not in San Francisco! I don’t have time to browse thru and find out where these items are. Often many of them never tell you. Basi...

Sharp Skate III - 1 reply
I would appreciate anybody out there giving me information about the Sharp Skate III. Its a sharpening guide or honing guide, for chisels, plane irons etc. It basically, holds the iron or chisel at a repeatable angle and allows you to move it across a stone sideways. This should let you use all the stone and supposedly makes it more accurate,...

New "mini" planers, Suggestions? - 12 replies
My old (1987) Ryobi AP-10 finally died in a puff of smoke! I wish I could find another one that would last over 20 years with almost daily usage. Anyway, I’ve not looked at the little 10” to 12” planers. I own a PM 20” but often use the small one for quick and thin jobs. Money is not so much of a problem, which baby...

I have this two spindle, horizontal boring machine which I’m not going to use. I believe its primary job was to make dowel holes for faceframes and butt joint glue ups. The moter is a 1/2 HP and looks and acts almost new. It is a capaciter start moter. The moter mount is adjustable in that you can easily lower the mount to adjust the belt....

Printing Original Plans - 6 replies
Hey thanks for ANY information you can supply! I have several original plans for small children’s rocking chairs etc. that I want to make available in plan form. I think I could handle Sketchup or one of the drafting style pieces of software to originate the plans. But, has anyone dealt with actually getting them printed up? I wanted...
