Location: Hartville, Missouri

I began my education as a design engineer with thoughts of being an architect. This was cut short due to a hitch in the U.S. Army. Later after some years doing other things, I returned to college for a degree in computer science. I've done significant work for several corporations in the ergonomics and time study areas (efficiency). Since 2003 I have built furniture and operated my own company, "Wood That Rocks", specializing in rocking chairs and other types of seating. I've worked my whole life in woodworking beginning as a child turning oak pegs for timberframe barns that were built by my Grandfather and father. I was lucky to attend several conferences, trainings sessions with Sam Maloof, Hal taylor of Virginia as well as several nationally known woodturners and wood carvers. I spend much of my time building, demonstrating and teaching.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
