Because mine is a basement workshop, I’m often referred to as a “cellar dweller”. Fine with me!

Hi Len, I have to agree with Jim. This is a picture perfect shop. But where is the sawdust? Occasionally mine will look something like this after my wife goes through it in whirlwind fashion. But then I have trouble locating my hand tools because she has “tidied” the place up and I simply cannot get to any of the power tools because they are stacked 3 deep along one wall. :) But your shop has to be one of the cleanest ones that I have seen.

But I really like your wall and floor treatments. These add both functional and decorative features to your shop. I would enjoy working in there.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed visiting your shop.

I’d have to agree, it looks wayyyyyyyyy too clean to be a shop that someone actually works in. I try to keep a clean and safe shop also, but thats just plain rediculous.

I like the layout! Plus it looks like you have quite a few nice “toys”.

Sorry, guys. My wife is a “clean freak” who insists on WASHING my floor every week!
And, I decided some years ago that I would NOT like to slip on some sawdust into a spinning blade.
The basement came to us finished, as you see: tiled floor, knotty pine walls, etc. When we moved in, the tools moved in, and it hasn’t changed very much since then, roughly 2 + years ago. I’m a very lucky guy: my wife loves my passion for wood, loves buying tools much more expensive than I would buy, and loves helping me keep the shop clean. She often finds “dust” I can’t even see, and cleans it without complaint.
Guys, it doesn’t get any better than this…........!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Len I have a wife that run my shop Vac once before I get up in the moriing and once at night before I go to bed. She thinks that is the reason we have been married for 38 years, well that and the fact that she will not eat the mushrooms…lol
Really the shop is great and clean like everyone has said, were you a Machinest before you became a wood-dust-maker..

Thanks for letting us see your shop
