Butterfly Spline inlay on a Kanna Dai

This is a repair that is often done when a Kanna has a split or check in the wood. Rather than simply filling it with epoxy and/or superglue, it is way better to use a mechanical connection to repair the crack and ensure that it doesn’t expand or get worse in the following years.
