Curved Dovetailed Drawers

Willie asked yesterday if I could explain how I make dovetails on curved drawers.

I may have just made it more confusing than it needs to be.

I was able to find a few photos of making a drawer for a desk I built.

I hope this helps.

Lee,

This is a wonderful post. I read Willie's post but didn't have a clue how to help him. I can at least understand the process now. Now if I could only handcut dovetails. I know practice, practice, practice is the key.

Thanks for the post. I found it to be both informative and instructional as well.

Hi Guys;

Thank you all for the great comments on this drawer technique.

Coming from this group of people it means a lot!

As Charlie M says above with his signature line: "Woodworking - patience = firewood".

Or at the very least, a smaller project! LOL

That really is the key to it all!

Thanks;

Lee

Lee. You make it look so easy. Well at least we don't see the hours of practice that it took to get there.

A great looking job.

Hey Bob;

Thanks the kind words.

You'd probably find out you know more than me!

Maybe we can play around with this technique at the picnic this year.
