My workshop is my garage. I have added 4 additional 120v circuits and 1 240v circuit spread across 8 quad outlets + 1 240v outlet. My workbench is basically a copy of one I saw for sale at Home Depot. Not really well suited for woodworking, but it will have to due for now. I have tried to get good value for most of my tool purchases – I tend to buy the best within the ‘tier’ I am buying from if I buy new, or get good quality for a great deal if I buy used. My major tools are:
Rigid TS3660 10” (cast iron) table saw with an Incra 1000HD miter gauge and mobile base
Delta 14” band saw with mobile base
Delta 14” drill press
JessEm Router Table with Fence and Mast-R-Lift and PC router
DeWalt 10” Miter Saw
DeWalt Fixed/Plunge combo router kit
Hitachi 3HP Plunge Router
I have recently added a set of Lie-Nielsen bench chisels and 3 of their planes (#5, block, and shoulder). I really like working with these quality hand tools, but I need a much better workbench.
My next purchases will be a jointer (looking very seriously at the Grizzley 8”) and a planer (almost a sure thing on the DeWalt 735).
I’ll get some photos added this weekend when I drag everything out again (I roll it all into a corner during the week so my wife can park inside).
