Apart from some woodworking classes at school (quite a while ago now), I have never managed to have the time and space to do any real woodworking. Recently moved to France, and am working part-time from a house with a garage big enough to build a workshop in. That's the work in progress at the moment - then there's a whole stack of things I want to do.

I’ve been so impressed by the number and high standard of the projects on this site.
I’m a real beginner at woodworking – just setting up my first shop in a new house in France. It’s good to know that there are so many skilled, friendly and helpful woodworkers around!
