Part 1: First Entry
After 10 years I am finally getting around to some needed shop upgrades. When we first moved into our home there was never a question about 1/2 of the 2-car garage becoming the “Woodshop”. Part 2: Will I ever get to cut wood again?
Well, it has been a while since I wrote the first entry. Not much has changed in the shop. Right after I built the wall and insulated it I discovered “dry rot” on the south side of my house. It was a mad dash to remove siding and bad sheeting and replace before going back to work as a school counselor. Needless to say, the house is buttoned up for winter but the shop is a shambles. Part 3: Couldn't take it
Okay, I couldn’t take it any more. I went out after that last entry and cleared the lathe off and started finishing some pens that I had prepared months ago. Boy, it was sure fun to just create sawdust. Here is how they turned out – http://lumberjocks.com/projects/3284.
Part 4: Sheetrock.....
It has only taken a year to get the sheetrock up. Needed to finish some projects to make room. Now for the tape and mud. Then new storage cabinets…..will it never end. I will post pictures soon.
