so, last Summer the air compressor busted after only 28 years of service. I started off trying to fix it then gave up.
And I bought a new and slightly bigger one….. which has been in my way in front of the cellar stairs to the outdoors ever since.
Why? Because if it isn’t plugged directly into a wall outlet it blows the breaker! So i left it there and I pull it out in front of the clothes dryer to use it. because that is one of the only 2 places that I can plug it in, in the cellar.
So last night, while thinking/planning on cleaning up my workspace I realized that I could probably fit it behind…..
See the Picture. I hauled out the lathe, removed some clamps and wood I had stashed back there, swept and viola! out of the way, close enough to plug into the other outlet, etc etc.. You can hardly see it back there in the corner. But with hoses you don’t need to see the compressor itself.
now to clean off my bench top.
be safe, count your fingers.
