“Industrial Work”
For decades i worked in medium to large shops making all of the cabinetwork installations for various large institutional concerns, including; schools, hospitals and prisons.

this is a nurses station.

this is a school.

this is in a lawyers office.

this is a “home office”

while on most of those larger ones I cannot claim to have done the whole job (there were 5 -10 others working on them also) the home office only the finish was done by someone else.

I usually prefer to work on smaller jobs like;

this TV case (quilted makore)

or this TV w/ fireplace (birds-eye maple)

or just for fun

mostly I like making good furniture…..or anything anybody asks me too

now it’s time to make more

Wow Kai. That is some fantastically beautiful work. You can tell that you have really put the time in with your hands. That quilted makore piece is amazing. Thank you for sharing this; it’s very inspiring
