New to wood working - after retiring from being a police officer for 21 years - needed to relax and carry a measuring tape instead of a gun - much more pleasure in that - I am certain. Native Idaho person - love nature and the things she creates. So much to learn - so little time.

Welcome! Your shop could use some saw dust by the looks of it. You can use some of mine seems as how I’m about 15 miles down the road from ya.

Thanks Dennis. But I am sure I will have all the saw dust I need. I am just plain creepy about saw dust and dirt. Clean up after every project and sometimes in between them. Besides if your to the West of me…I am sure I get some of your saw dust with the wind…we never have.

I’m half way between Wendell and Jerome… 3 miles north of Jerome so most days you are safe!

Thank you Larry for the compliment. I was scared to really try the shading of this picture, The real picture is beautiful and I didn’t want to do the picture no wrong. I’m hoping as time goes by my shading will improve. Glad to see new wood workers come into the group. Hope you have as much fun in the group as I have had. The people here are so friendly and helpful, so if you need any help get on here and hollor. I’m sure someone on here can give you the help you need. Wood working is so much fun and so relaxing at times. Again, thank you for your comment. Jim
