Well I am about to embark on a journey to take my 2 car garage and dedicate it to being a workshop. Oh and of course for my wife to be able to park her car in bad weather (or so she thinks…that’s the way I sold her on the idea anyways)

I have grown tired of all the clutter, shuffling things around to work on anything, having to move lawn mowers, motorcycles, camping stuff and just about everything else just to have room to work on a project and also the opposite…having to move a whole project just to take out the mower to do the yard. As a visual here are my current working conditions.

So my first step in this journey you may ask? I am getting everything that is not woodworking related out of the garage. I went and purchased a 10’ x 14’ storage building. Here is my progress after day 1 of that venture

Well that is all I have for now. I have preassembled a lot of the parts for the building itself. Hopefully I get that up tomorrow. I am also currently working on shop drawings for the new setup and I have already purchased the materials for the first major upgrade in the new shop. Here is the material as a teaser!
