I am a 33 year old carpenter. I specialize in decks and arbors and I do a little woodworking on the side. I really enjoy making personalized boxes, wood carving, frames and pretty much anything along those lines. I live in an apartment, so pretty much any woodworking that I have done was done on my very small patio. I have recently rented a small storage unit and I am in the process of setting it up to use as a workshop. Most of my tools are general construction tools which makes any sort of fine woodworking a real pain. I'd love to invest in some tools that better fit my hobby, but hey, I'm a carpenter in Michigan so I have to be very careful with every dime.
I am not a "dark" person, obsessed with death or anything like that, but I like to make casket shaped items.

Thank you all for your LJ’s hospitality!!!!!!!!! I can already see how addictive this site can be, but hey, it beats crack or some other messed up junk. I’ll throw up some pics of my work as soon as I figure out how to get them under 3 mb’s. I’m pretty slow when it comes to computers…. I still can’t figure out how to change the blade on mine.
