I have been on Lumberjocks for a while under the homepage korys, but because of some technical issues that myself and lumberjocks can not resolve I have had to restart my home page. If we were buddies before, I would like you to be my buddy now and I will send invites. My first project is new for the Winter Contest 2011, but I will be posting some of my older projects that I really like. If you commented on them before, thank you. If you did not see them the first time around and want to comment now, thank you too. I will post that this was an older project from my old home page.

I have been doing intarsia art for a year and half. I generaly use only wood colors and not stain to make my pieces. Any suggestions, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks,

Kory

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Now I haven’t seen a lot of intarsia and what I have seen was just flat. All the sanding(carving?) you do gives it so much more depth and life. Awesome work.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself just about 2 years ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
I apologize for the late welcome but I am currently serving overseas and don’t have a lot of spare time on my hands.

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty
