Thank you Max! I have done SOME work but am really trying to get back into the swing. This looks like a good site to get some inspiration!

I will post pics when I get a chance – arts and crafts furniture for my home is where I have been, but I am veering off into testing the waters of hand tools becuase what I like most about wood is the touch of it. A very different world.

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Wow! You guys are very welcoming! I can bet you are just as great at advice, which I will surely need.

Meanwhile, I have been checking out the projects posted and you have some very talented craftsmen in your midst. I am already inspired.

I think I will be spending a lot of time here. :)
