Each side lite is 3 pieces of glass the middle glass is beveled leaded glass. Each window is 3/4 inch thick and weighs 7 1/2 lbs. Each of the finished doors weighs 10 1/2 lbs. I put 3 european hinges on each door.
The window frame is common lumber which was covered with shop made veneers and a built in hidden outlet under the sill to accomadate the candle fixture.
