I'm no expert, all self-taught. I think I got my love for woodworking from my beloved Grandpa. Creating something in the shop is rewarding, especially when it is simply a gift for someone special. I love experimenting, creating something original and always learning something new. I always say, "there's an imperfection in there somewhere, see if you can find it!" My mom curses me every time I say that!

Welcome to Lumberjocks! You wrote … ”Creating something in the shop is rewarding, especially when it is simply a gift for someone special.”  That sounds a great deal like my approach to woodworking.

Kim,

Regarding the wine pour holder. I just used a 1/8” bit, the stem of the pour goes in that hole, and the rubber part sits on the top of the box (cube).
