Beginning to spent a bit more time in the shop. I like building things, so the wood shop is a good outlet.

By day I work as a manager of sorts for design engineers that design high speed packaging machines that are used to package bottles or cans of drinks into paperboard packages. My background in designing machinery gives me a leg up on some aspects of building projects in wood, but also leads me down the wrong path sometimes and wood has many nuances that are not found in metal.
