Location: Near Wichita, Kansas
Website:
I have moved away from my hometown and therefore away from all of my Dad's tools and my Grandpa's. I have been busy remodeling my house and getting tools gathered up for my new shop. My wife and I recently moved to a small town outside of Wichita. I am an estimator in the construction industry. Most of my recent background has been in electrical work and commercial general contracting.
My passion for woodworking comes from my grandpa. I have not done much woodworking since he passed away, but am trying to get back into it.
My other passion (see my picture) is Kansas State University.

Well, we are basically finished. There are a couple spots that we still need to put some more Poly on, but the crib is basically finished. Enjoy. Well, that pretty much doesn’t for the crib. I had a lot of fun ...

If I don’t get a lot done in the next couple evenings, this will be a mute point I know. But, I was wondering if you guys would consider my crib able to be entered in the contest. I’ve never entered anything yet and thought it’d ...

My Dad and Grandma came out this weekend. We spent most of the day Saturday looking at baby stuff. You know how Grandma’s eat that up. Consequently, we did not get the crib done this weekend. Oh well, we still had fun. The Inlay – m...

Beautiful crib! I have a new grandson and I hope I develop my skills to make him something beautiful. I might have it all figured out by the time he’s 10! I’m a K-State alum from ‘83!

Nice to meet you at the meeting Monday. I’m glad we’ll be meeting on Tuesdays because then I was going to have to choose between it and a regular commitment I have on the 4th Monday. It’s just worked out the past 3 times that my other meeting changed it’s week for some reason or another. I’m ready to get brave and start on some small projects where I get better at the detail stuff. Wow – I sure got a refresher course in geometry Monday night! And probably learned a lot I didn’t know.
