Well no, she didn’t turning anything on the lathe. Our dryer unexpectedly broke down (Motor) and it needs to be replaced. I told her to take my pens to work and she can take whatever she sells and put it towards a new dryer.
She sold only one (1) pen for $35.00. She also took a bunch of bowls and my latest vase and sold $300 worth. To bad she only gets the pen money, I didn’t say anything about the bowl money. heh heh
We are still short for the dryer, so she is going to give pens another try tomorrow.

So what are you going to buy with the bowl money? More bowl making materials I hope.

Throw the money from the bowls in to the pot and by her the dryer. :-) that is the least you could do for her. Because if SWMBO isn’t happy, you ain’t happy. LOL Good Luck

Okay, I’m to lazy to take a picture. But the dryer has been purchased, picked up and is now plugged into the wall sitting next to the Washer.
I’m just bummed because we didn’t get one with a dryer rack. I thought I could use it to dry my rough out bowl blanks… but nope, couldn’t get that feature in the dryer.

Nice try at being “tough n mean”, but we know better! How about microwaiving the bowl? Or make a kiln by putting a lightbulb in a sealed box with an exhaust fan. One of those hooded dehydrating racks for veggies may even work.
