This is the beginnings of a shadow box I’m making for my inlaws. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in Dec. ‘2011. I hope to get it done soon. It’s going to be made of Walnut and Oak. Similar to the frame I made for them of the whole fam damily. Feels good to get out to the shop. I’d like to do more things that I wanna do, instead of all the things I have ta do. Ya know what I mean.
Thnx in advance for lookin. Not much to see just yet.

If they just had their 60th anniversary, I wouldn’t wait too long! Your shop is my kinda shop: neat, clean, and organized. Looking forward to the finished product.

Wow, 60 years. It makes me feel like a newly wed. I’m sure your inlaws will greatly appreciate a present made specially for them.

It sounds like they have had a good life together and I’m sure that they will be thrilled by what you are making for them. It looks like you have made a good start.

It’s great to hear about people who are whole heartedly commited to one another, the way it should be. It may be just a pile of lumber now but soon it will be something to be cherished.
