Please help me with my memory, or should I say lack of. I have the plans to build one of these but for the life of me I can’t seem to find them. I believe it was in a magazine I have but like most of us I have hundreds of old issues after 35 years of making sawdust.

If my memory serves me at all I remember a dark finish with four rubber bumpers on the seat so that when turned over it would not slide. It was basicaly rail and style design and similar in size as a bar stool/breakfast bar stool.

Would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction so I can find it and make it.

Thanks

Ken

Never seen that one, but I remember a similar idea Ben Franklin had that performed the same function. If folded in half to transform from chair to step stool. Google him and see if you can find a photo of it.
Good luck.

Ken,

If you are still looking for the Hoosier step stool article, you can find a downloadable PDF on my website under “Published Articles”. I wrote the article, and own the rights so I can legally share it.

It's free for the download.

Thanks Ralph. Now that we are home from Ireland and I can see for sure I had it from my WJ mags, just couldn’t find it before.
