I am old. I have not seen or done everything but I have seen and done enough that little impresses me anymore. Heck, I was even set on fire once. Which was kind of exciting in a life threatening way.

With that said, this kind of stuff makes me smile.

That is wonderful! Thanks for the posting. I love how he raised the head and tail stocks.

I’m just learning to turn wood. The thought of also having to use the pedal to keep the piece spinning would probably just overwhelm me!

Yeah, I’ve seen this before. That’s pretty cool with all the hard work he put into it. I especially liked that he used old flywheels and gears and old lathe parts to build it. What’s really nice is that you don’t run up your electric bill to use it.
