Well If I told you once I told you 17,000 times.
Well at least I said something 17,000 times.
Dang this place is addictive. It is my drug of choice.
I love ya all.
Now make sawdust. I can’t I’m too busy typing. And it’s cold in the shop and I’m too cheap to turn on the heat.

LOL Karson. You are so right. This place is addictive and it is too cold to be in the shop. Can’t wait for warmer weather.

Hey, Rub two sticks together real fast and for a long time. If you don’t make fire, at least you’ll make sweat, or maybe even some sawdust.

LOL…. It’s too cold in my shop too. So, here I am, typing instead of making sawdust….
I am, in fact, a LumberJocksAholic…. (I’m holding my chisel with a candle taped to it in the air)
Oh, and Karson- We think a lot of you too… even though you type 10 times more than the rest of us… LOL…

Okay, I took a break from making my first box with four corners of hand-cut dovetails… now, I have to be retrained again… Decided to do something different, and since I learned how to sharpen a chisel, I got out the broken parts to the antique dresser… and am whacking away at it to make new parts. At least my sawdust room shares space with the home furnace so I can enjoy the dust and debris year round.

Hey Karson;
Don’t tell my wife this at the picnic, but when I built the shop, I ran a gas line from the house for the heat, so SHE pays to heat it. Ha Ha!
I’m just plain mean, huh!

where would we be without you Karson? Well, let’s see.. there is 370,000 comments in total and you typed 17,000 of them …. well that means that almost 22% of the comments are YOURS! Did I do the math right?

Deb’s math is off just a little but it is not really that important. Karson, you have been a welcome influence and an exemplary model for the rest of us. I agree that it is hard to juggle time on-board here, in the shop AND, in my case, (but I am sure I am not the only one in this predicament) take care of those things that my wife thinks it is HER responsibility to “assign” to me.
This place would not be the same without you. I just hope your fingers do not wear out. :)

Karson,
I am always looking for your input on the many topics that come up on LJ forums. You are an institution and a valuable resource both for technical stuff and humor.
