This is a group of pictures that was taken at a LumberJock Picnic held at Lee Jesbergers Shop in Central New Jersey September 29, 2007.
I had been trying to get some pictures of possibly one of the first lumberjock picnics that was held. I always wanted to invite myself to visit Lee’s shop and we had chatted about it a couple of times. But then I suggested that we have a picnic there and he agreed.
Lee almost agrees to anything. We had a fantastic time. I hope that I can remember who was there.

Left to right. Zipsss Ze’ev Abigador, myself Karson Morrison, Bob A in NJ Mark Geserick and his wife Nancy BryanO Bob Lanzilotta and his wife and then Lee Jesberger my son David was playing around somewhere. We also had Dan Gill and a friend of his there for a while. they left before the group picture was taken.
Lee’s wife and mother-in-law fed us some fantastic Greek foods.
Lee showing BryanO some of his Japanese Chisels.
I was showing some of the Joiners on my No Glue, Screws or Nails Joinery Project
Bob and Ze’ev looking at some edge banding on a bathroom cabinet that Lee was constructing.
Mark and Bob’s wives.
One of Lee’s Demilune table tops.
I brought some veneer to share with the guys.
Mark listening to someone at Lunch. A beautiful day.
Bob showing some legs that he was making.
Lee with his Ezee Feed showing how to joint edges on a table saw.
A few people aptly paying attention to Ze’ev discussing some woodworking subject.
If you get a chance to visit Lee’s shop enjoy yourself.
If you get a chance to make it to a LumberJock Picnic go and enjoy yourself.
Make friends of your LumberJock Buddies.

What a wonderful way to spend a day!!!! Good food, good friends and plenty of shop time. And it looks like you had the girls outnumbered. :) I hope that they found plenty to do as well.

Thanks for the posts Karson. That Lee Jesberger looks too young to know as much as he does!

Aw chucks Douglas!
Karson’s just mad I still have my hair!
These picnics are great fun, and Karson has the personality to orchestrate the entire day. Good thing, ‘cause I’m boring!
I do advise these picnics, as great friendships are made.
