I just got off the phone with Mark and he still has pain. A couple of time as we were talking he was getting excited and the breathing went faster and then pain hit. So he stops talking and gets his breath back, and we contuinued with our talk.

He said that he is unable to sit up very long because he leans over and it causes sharp pains in his chest.

So he’s not been logged in but his wife is keeping him iformed with his e-mail. A few more posts to you might be a LumberJock if/when type of response.

But he’s feeling better today than yesterday. so its a slow process.

We need to get him one of those software programs that writes out his dictation… or is that too much?

Hey, Karson, if you could pass a message on to him for me… tell him I’m sorry, but I’m afraid I can’t hold off on my blogs much longer. Though I don’t want to take advantage of the situation, I’m itching to write a bit, so… looks like I’m going to pass Mark up tonight.

:)

Thanks for the updates Karson.

Ethan, I thought you might have been silent out of respect for your friendly little blog count competition. Very noble gesture, but I’m afraid if you both hold off, you’ll either explode, or the next entry will require volumes, let alone chapters. ;)

In lieu of flowers and a get well card, there must be some reasonably priced voice recognition blog software, perhaps even shareware – (or a neighbor to take dictation ;)

I’ll do that Ethan. But he did say that he had a couple of blogs that he wanted to start. So when he starts feeling better and able to sit up. They might come fast and furiously.

Scott he probably has wooden pencils. So if he can dictate and get his wife to transcribe – He should be ready to roll.

Scott, that new tag line is seriously funny. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had that run through my head!

you are all funny and encouraging.

I was worried about Ethan’s blog progress this week, and I was pleased to see that he has waited on me.

On the other hand, Karson shot right past me by a couple of hundred postings, so I slipped some more spots in the “Jocks” posting list.

I like the fun the competitive spirit brings, but most of all I am thrilled to see the site grab legs and run. Several of us tried real hard last summer to work on the site and get material posted that would cause the “buzz” of the new site to grow, and now we are seeing the benefits, with dozens of new projects each week, and many new lumberjocks signing up.

Thanks Karson for updating everyone, and your phone calls. My shortness of breath is getting better, and I expect to be back to my breathy self in a few days.
