It will take a while to load, a lot of great pictures. Don’t try it on dial-up.

I didn’t take the pictures a friend sent me the link.

Karson you are a man of many talents. The photography is outstanding, the subject matter is equal to the photography. I’ve been thinking about that Nikkon for awhile now – it really does a fantastic job, well actually it allows a talented photographer to do a fantastic job.

You can’t not be impressed by the Blue Angels. And everything they do, all Navy Aviators do (maybe without the same precision). Great set of pix.

That low pass is insane! How do they know they are high enough to avoid the boats?

you can put a great camera in someone’s hands and get crap—these are awesome. So you are as good at photography as you are at woodworking!

I love the shot with the boat in the way – you really get the idea of how low that baby was. Awesome.

Congrats on all the connections you made from your photos.

They aren’t my pictures. I hope I didn’t make that impression. A friend sent me the link. I just thought that others might enjoy them.

The Blue Angels knocked it out the park this year. I’ve been every year for the past seven years and this was by far their best show. The low pass with the shockwave was fantastic, and lots of buzzing the crowd.

Check out this shot of the low pass

Also there is a channel that is cleared of all boats in the bay when they do their show, so no danger of hitting anyone.

Sorry guys but I’ve had it. This organization and the “shows” that it puts on costs the American taxpayer tens of millions of dollars yearly. At a time in our country when the military is crying about needing more and more money to fight for our so called freedoms, this sort of wanton display of personel and material waste makes me want to puke. Think about this fancy display of egotism the next time your taxes are due.
