I arrived home yesterday to find a package on my front porch.

It was a care package from an LJ friend in Texas. Gerardo Garcia sent me a message and asked if I wanted some wood. He was getting concerned about the posabalities of Huricanes in his area of S. Texas and was offering some wood.
What arrived was 61 lbs of Mesquite and Texas Ebony. Small to mid size turning wood.

Thanks BlueStingRayBoots. You are a great and generous friend.
I hope and pray that the water stays away from you but that gentle rains will fall on Texas and break their drouth.

for the haze from the fire in arizona

You are right david.
There is a big area of the country with not enough water and another area with too much.
Too bas is not spread around more.

Karson, Nice gift. I just find it difficult to believe that of all the LJ’s out here, someone actually thinks you may need more wood….However, I’m confident you will put it to very good use. Enjoy the blessings.
