After several days I have got most of my muscles back and have made a significant improvement. My test scores this week went to an acceptable level and my kidneys are back to normal.
I’m still in the “can’t do much” situation but every day gets me stronger. Today the surgeon called and scheduled the surgery for next Wednesday, with tests on the Monday before. Good news.

Sandra does have all your details and she found the recorded message, thank you.
Got to thank you and the “gang” so much for just being there when things go awry, I don’t mind whatsoever you divulge about me to LJ’s, I regard them as ALL my friends, even if some of them can’t get on with each other. lol

Your support, thoughts and prayers mean a lot to me, thank you.
Regards Roger

This is the message that I received about a week ago.

Oh what a mess.
The last time I sent a PM was to let you know that an Anuerysm was found and that I was scheduled for surgery on 28th July.
Well on the 23rd I started feeling extremely unwell and for the next 2 days I got worse, I could not get up as my muscles were not working, so on SundayI was taken into the ER, had a bunch of tests and was admitted for the week – only got out a few hours ago. They diagnosed me with Acute renal failure (ARF) – Kidney failures and Rhabdomyolysis – (rapid breakdown (lysis) of skeletal muscle (rhabdomyo) due to injury to muscle tissue). Ie Degeneration of the muscles and tissue going through the kidneys. Bad scene.
Looks like it was all caused by medication conflicts, sent all my “signs” into failing. Surgery was postponed until I can get my body back to working – now dealing with diabetis and and irregular heart beats while my body repairs.
Anyway, I know I said I would give you a heads up after the surgery, so this note is in place of that.

I don’t comment often, but I do follow your blog. My father is going through a bit of trouble himself and I find it somewhat difficult when thinking about his condition. Because of this my heart goes out to you to say Gods will be done in you. Have no fear and be still and watch God work His grace and mercy. I will pray for you as I pray for my own father. Thanks for all your inspiration, hoping to be given much more from you in the future.
