I never figured that this number would ever be in my life. This site is the only one that I’ve been active on. I signed up to other sites and then promptly forgot their address and even my login ID.

But, Martin has made a site that is friendly so lots of friendly people login and have stayed around.

My thanks go out to all of you for your participation and for Martin for having the desire and insite into what makes a great site better.

Now on to 50,000.

Go, Karson, Go !

No doubt this site has a way of keeping people coming back. I keep telling myself I spend too much time here and need to cut back … but I don’t.

Wow Karson, that is amazing!

I get very, very little time for woodworking lately but you’ve helped me a lot anytime I’ve needed help and also helped to make the pen turners’ swaps amazing.

I think I remember 10,000 and 15,000 posts as well! You sure are busy! ;-)

quite an achievement—for you and for our site. You are right, for someone to be here for 25,000 posts then it must be a pretty impressive place to be!

I, for one, am so glad that you joined up – and stayed!

I enjoy your posts… and find I am even posting more than I would expect. At least you are highly skilled in the subject matter. Many of us have no idea what we are talking about!

The form and format of the site helps tremendously.

Speaking of posts… isn’t one owed for our last MDWW workshop? That’d give you 25,001.

Karson, all I can say is thank you for being such a fine person and keeping me around. It all culminated in this past weekend in our Mich. LJ picnic. That’s when I realized what a very real and special thing we have going here. When I met those fellow Jocks it was like I had already had known them, yet the only one I think I really had met on line was Rustic. We began conversing like we were always friends. It was very strange. I say all this to emphasize the greatness of this site. I know you too have felt the same way. It is just a coming together of good and common people with a common interest. Thanks Karson for being the glue. mike

Gee Karson, I’ve nearly been in here as long as you, and have become such a slacker… well, I guess you should see the house we’ve just about wrapped up. New place promises to afford me much more shop time, not like I’ll ever have a chance at catching up. Hard to believe I was once in the top 5 posters AHEAD of you.
Thanks for helping to keep us all together, entertained and informed.
Looking forward to the next 25K!!!

I figure, if I maintain the same rate for posts that I am now…...it will take me a little over 19 years to reach 25k. Hope I’m still around by then.
