I'm a graphic artist turned imaging programmer who just got into woodworking. Now that I've started I've got quite a few projects on my list:

• crown moulding in all rooms
• chair rail/picture mouldings (halfway done)√
• built-in bookcases√
• coffered ceilings in family room
• fireplace moulding/surround
• window trim on all windows in the house (first floor is done √)
• columns between family room and living room √

I cannot wait to get started especially now that I received a table saw for Mother's Day from the hubs and kiddo!! (I'm giddy with excitement :D)

I'd really like to get into creating furniture however I'm limited to my skills (read: anything that doesn't require curves) and the tools I own. So for starters i think i'm going to attempt to create a bed -headboard and frame-should be easy enough right?

Welcome Kali. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.
