I have been a lurker for quite awhile looking at the beautiful projects and helpful tips. It just occurred to me that I was not a member yet so I decided to sign up. I am currently a construction management major in my junior year of college and have enjoyed woodworking and carpentry ever since my Grandfather took me to his shop when I was little. I basically try and make things as people need them. I had quite a few things on my list of things I wanted to build someday before I found this site, and now that list has grown tremendously. I am a huge University of Illinois fan and have the Chief as my avatar (IF THIS IS OFFENSIVE TO ANYONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL CHANGE IT I AM NOT ONE TO CAUSE PROBLEMS). If anyone wants to know anything else just ask I am pretty open.

~Kerry

PS Just to avoid any awkwardness I am male the name is unisex so just trying to avoid any confusion I feel its better to get this out now to avoid any mix-ups.

Welcome aboard, brother. Pull up a stump, get out your pocket knife, and commence to makin’ wood chips!

You’ll find this place is interesting to “lurk” on, but far more so when you participate. Post a project or two, write a blog on something you did that taught you something, and so on.

You got a question? If somebody here can’t answer it, you’ll have to ask Steven Hawking!

Enjoy!

Welcome to Lumberjocks; It’s a great place for woodworkers of all kinds and you will enjoy it; I’m sure of it.

Hello Lurker… Don’t roll over already and change your photo… What fun would that be? Welcome to L/J. A very fun and educational place where the members are the best part. :)
