Has anyone ever seen this type of nesting hardware for a table leaf?
Where might I find it?

I remember seeing this type of table in an older issue of Fine Woodworking, and I just went to their website to look for it. Turns out that Michael Fortune has been making these types of tables for years and wrote an article for the magazine in issue #220. I’m not sure if you’re asking for the plans for the tables, or just the hardware to complete them, so I’ll give you information on both. You might be able to go to your local library; they usually have old issues of the magazine, or help on how to get it. As for the hardware, type in butterfly table hardware at a search engine and see what comes up. The article had some pictures of tables that had some shopmade hardware that was basically steel rods in holes drilled into some fancy cut pieces of wood, something you could probably make yourself. Hope this helps.

You can also look here to see if it’s what you’re looking for “hardware”: http://www.vandykes.com/search.aspx?query=table+leaf&gclid=CMe-i4qtvLYCFQdU4Aod5iwAuw

The picture looks like a typical table leaf with equilizer slides. You pull from one side, and the other side opens equally. If that’s what you need, Tablelegs.com has some of the largest sizes around.
Here is one I made…

If you plan it right, you can stow the leaves inside the table.
