I am making some podium out of solid cherry .I assembled them using mitre foods with biscuits .Tight joints when I first glued them up but a couple months later the joints are partially open , maybe 1/32nd. Any suggestions on repairing.it hasn’t been stained or finished yet.

Need a picture to know what you’re talking about.

If you are talking about the open miter joint in the top picture, that is probably just from a little shrinkage from drying. I would take a round rod, like a round screw driver shaft and drag it along the seam to close it up a little. Then go ahead and finish however you want.
