I am a self taught woodworker although I remember watching my Grandfather in his woodshop when I was much younger. I started woodworking out of necessity – we needed some storage space for our grandkids toys so I made a toy chest. After that we had outgrown our kitchen table when our kids started getting married and the prices of tables in the store scared me so I made what ended up being a beautiful cherry 6’ pedestal table. What really works in my favor is the I don’t have any idea what I don’t know so I just dive in and somehow it usually works out.
