« Part 4: Almost there Part 5 of Log bed Sakura (cherry) series no next part

So it was the 3rd birthday of my daughter today, actually it past a few minutes now…

The bed was done a while ago, and she has been sleeping there, but I just thought it would be a good idea to take some shots on her birthday sleeping there.

From woodworking

There has been no problem with the bed, and the cracking just stopped after I put this bed in the bedroom.

There is nothing special about this photo, but for me, this is one of the biggest reason to be here in the world.

Hey Junji
That’s one cute little dumpling. I’m glad your bed has held up for your little sweetie

Indeed there is something very special in this picture for all of us. One day an architect friend of mine said to me: “there is not something more beautiful than being sleeping with your son/daughter in a building you made”.....I think same thinking applies here. Thanks for share this nice picture and moment in your personal life.

It’s nice hear from a Loving Father.

Enjoy every moment you can, because they grow up real fast.

Jim,
Thank you. Yes, I want this bed to hold for as long as she gets really big, or maybe lifetime…

Moai,
Ah, you changed your ID photo!
I think your friend is absolutely right. I have been sleeping with my daughter in there many times, and that’s really different from anything else.

Dick, & Barb,
I know I know, it’s already 3 years, time flies… I don’t want to miss any cute faces she and my son make, so actually I am always with them.
