« Part 3: Almost done Part 4 of Dresser Build series no next part

This project took much longer than planned but now it’s ready to go inside the house.
Here are a few photos of the dresser with red mahogany stain and 5 coats of water based polyurethane. The cherry plywood has some very nice figure. The figure on the top stands out very nicely.

The drawer fronts are veneered with sapelle. The drawer pulls were ordered online from HomeDepot. I was surprised with the large selection of pulls you can order from HomeDepot. Drawers have full extension slides.
I didn’t keep track of all my expenses on this project but I figured for lumber, hardware, and finishing supplies this dresser cost me about $700.

That is one really nice dresser. I really like the grain and accents.

Super nice and one of a kind.
The nice metal draw slides will really make this a winner for years to come. Smooth!
