So this is my first time posting. As many im self taught and learning as I go . I’m currently working with some live edge cherry, it’s too wide for my planner so I did my best with a hand planer and some sanding to get the rough tool marks the limber yard left behind. Wasn’t terribly concerned about perfectly flat until I took some mineral spirits and wipeed down the surface to see what it would look like With poly; what I came up with were some spots with deeper tool marks that mar the surface. what is the best way to get them out. I’ll post a pick once I figure out photo bucket
