Location: Greeley, Co

In high school woodshop I was the idiot who kept launching plywood panels across the shop with the table saw, the only thing i made that i remember was an enormous monstrosity of a desk that took 3 sheets of plywood, 1 for the top (yes it was that big) and one for each underneath side box thing. During 4 deployments to iraq, i built many storage and practical application projects with a circular saw and plywood so warped home depot might even pass on it (you think 1/32" over 36" is bad, try 2' over 8')

After the ARMY, i bought a house with a 2-car garage, which has never housed a car. I started with a black & decker table saw, and black & decker compound miter saw (which i still have and rarely use). I mostly did home remodeling projects and didn't have any aspirations to making fine (ish) furniture, but that all changed when i stumbled onto a wood whisperer video back in 2009, I've been muddling my way through semi-mediocre projects ever since.

I've constantly upgraded tools as the cheaper counterparts have outlived their usefulness. I now have a 1970's Craftsman table saw (the one that you can find on craigslist anywhere in the country) with a delta t-2 fence, incra miter gauge, incra i-box, an eclectic mix of clamps, a dowelmax, and a terrifying 3-wheel delta bandsaw.

In real life I'm a self-employed computer repair man in Greeley, Colorado, and live with my wife and 2 cats.
