Okay so after a minor mishap (which is why I’ll forgo the pictures on this entry) involving my trusty dusty circular saw, I don’t really have an update to post on this project. However I’ve now pretty much set into motion the final notch in my fing…er I mean journey into the wonderful world of buying an entry level hobby type table saw.
Tomorrow brings on a sigh-filled trip to one of those big box type stores due to availability of a particular saw & being the lesser of two evils of two big box stores within driving range that have table saws that when purchasing something based on price vs brand vs quality vs ability to repair over time I can do.
Sorry if this post was a lot of “vs” and run-on sentences… I’m tired now.
Well, guess I’ll chalk tonight up to experience. Gotta get it somehow right?

Yeah, there is no substitute for a table saw for ripping boards. I just got my first TS last fall and I don’t regret it one bit.
