I must THANK everyone for such a warm welcome! I have recently decided to get into wooodworking as a weekend warrior. I do remember when growing up how much I enjoyed it, from school to the projects that we did as a family. I have always enjoyed working with my hands. I have tried the R/C cars and trucks and helicopters, I have enjoyed them they have left me wanting more. I have debated long and hard on this. I have always loved the look, feel and smell of wood. The options of types of wood are so vast of what my previous knowledge. I have used many of the power tools and should be okay with them. As for the hand tools will be new to me and will be spend many hours learning these tools.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
