« Part 3: Radiator Cover Part 4 of Old Projects series no next part

No pic yet. My wife has these Ball jars that we keep various kitchen staples in. They were cluttering up the counter, so I made this from some scrap wood I had lying around. The experience of making this and the radiator cover using ad hoc set up in the living room made me crazy. It sent me off into deepest, darkest Rockville, MD to find the Woodworker’s club there. since my wife won’t let me set up a table saw in our 2-BR apartment’s living room.

Anyway, the rack was dimensioned around the jars, so it looks nice and custom, but it is made out of pine, with just some sanded chamfers and curves to give it that home-made look. I think a future project is to make a double level version with some cleaner lines.
