I am new to this site and happened across it by tracing the origin of an image of a prairie style bed from a google image search. I am a cabinet/furniture maker in Palos Park, IL. I am a retired educator and turned a lifetime hobby in to a small shop run out of my converted three car garage. I am trying to contact Vincent Nocito who designed and fabricated the bed mentioned above. The LumberJocks rules say that I can’t contact any of you until I have at least five posts? I assume that this constitutes one of them. However, I’m hoping that someone sees this and can put me in touch with Vincent. I am hoping to make this bed in a king size version for a client who picked the bed from among twenty plus photos that I provided for her. I have made a number of beds over the years but it would be helpful if I have some actual dimensions, etc. from Vincent. I normally am able to scale a photo to get what I need but the resolution of the thumbnails on the website won’t allow me to do so this time. Any help would be appreciated. I’m hoping that this site will become one that I use often.
Thanks,
JohnEP

Welcome to the site John. You may have stumbled here by accident, but stay awhile and check things out. You should have no problem getting to 5 posts. Check out some blogs, post a few projects, comment/answer some questions in the forum and you are good to go.

John,
Welcome to LJs. I’m not familiar with the new rules on contacting people since there weren’t such restrictions years ago when I joined. However, perhaps you can make a comment on the bed project and he might answer you back. Or you could ask him about the bed on his homepage.
Best wishes.
