I’ll second that lilredweldingrod. I joined years back, I’m ashamed to admit. Magazine is junk ( I toss it without turning a page) and you will likely not get anything to test.

I joined once on the premise that I would have the opportunity to test some tools. The only tool ever sent to me was some cheesy $2 plastic speed square that they sent you when you joined. The magazine was not good either. Then when I did not want to participate, I could not get them to stop sending me magazines (I wrote back to them on numerous occasions). Then after all that, they had the nerve to keep trying to bill me for membership. Nope, I highly recommend that you stay away from that one.

Agreed. I got a couple of books from them and a couple of videos. It was a huge hassle to get them to stop sending them to me. Stay away from this “club”. As for free tools, the only thing I got after a couple of years, was a piece of rubber mat to remove lids from jars. :-(

I kept getting a bunch of books they wanted me to buy, Had to take the time to send them back
before the deadline or I was billed for them.
The only thing I got to test was a small tube of crazy glue . WOW!

The only thing I ever got for free from the was the cute little stickers with your name on, and those drill bit sizing plastic cards trying to get you to join them. I’ve never subscribed to them as it really had no interest to me.

I got a bench dog router table top that is the bomb from them shortly after I joined (I won it in their contests). I am a life member and have really not seen the benefits of it yet

They will load you up with drill gauges. Since they are plastic, they make good glue spreaders. After a two year sub, I have a lifetime of this to “test” for them. The mags aren’t even good for the outdoor toilet. There are all slick pages. They are John Wayne toilet paper, they don’t take crap off of any body.
