If you want to see some funny yet informative videos, check out those by steveinmarin. They are a great guide to make such videos successfully.

make a parody of tool review videos!!!

by example, take a new tool you just bought, say it is great though you didn’t use it, make a test of the tool where you use it for something spectacular but totally useless in woodworking (sanding a piece of slab), or a test against a different tool wich is smaller cheaper, much older, broken? just to show how great it is. (look this saw can cut much faster than this old drill)
and don’t forget to be biased as hell, and obnoxious!

I feel comic ability is something you either have or you don’t.
Some comedy puts tears in my coffee from me laughing so hard.
Some comedy is as funny as death.
Few comics are as good as Stevin Marin, funnny as #&!! and informative.
So give us your best shot. The worst you ca do is find out that you’re not a comic. On the other hand, you may become a hit like Stevin.

Hahaha! I forget about the dancing woodoworker sometimes SuperD.
Yeah John, if you do a comic bit, are you going to throw in some dance moves for us too? We could have a dance showdown right here on Lumberjocks.
If you are lost on what I’m talking about, just go to superdav721’s link above to see the “dancing cognoscente” (yeah, that’s is really on his profile), Chad, and watch any of his videos. He ends all of them with dancing.
Am I weird to admit I like watching his videos?

He is funny. And knows what he is doing. But Safety Dan kills me. When I drank that was me. I was the test dummy for Murphy. Like Super Dave Osborne, if something bad is going to happen it will happen to me.

You change your Socks that often ? Do like I do with My Underwear & Socks …..Turn them Inside Out and they’re good for at least another week. OR!! Just leave them on when you have your Weekly Shower!! ...LOL….

Okay. You win. I’ll leave that Avatar on for at least a Month!! Seeing as how I build the Bench from a Throwaway and the 2 Kids sitting on it.

Ya’ll aren’t getting maximum distance out of your underclothes, drawers or socks.
One week’s wear.
Take a weekly shower with them on, another week’s wear.
Turn them inside out for another week’s wear.
Skip a week’s bath. Remember. You turned the underwear. Why you wanna bath?
Take your now bi-weekly bath with them on. That’s another week’s wear.
Then go out to the wood shop. Soak the undergarments in shellac.
Now there is a trick to this one. Shellac is going to cause chafing when dry, so use plenty of talc. Don’t worry about the smell, it’ll go away when the shellac cures, and you’re wood workers. You’re supposed to smell that way. What does it matter anyway? You’ve now been wearing the same undegarments for about a month. The shellac smell is an improvement.
Now, with the shellac cured, start the whole process all over again.
See??
You’re now getting maximum distance out of your underclothes and saving on your water bill with less baths.
Now, after you go through the whole process again, by this time you’ve broken the shellac up sufficiently so that you can now wash them. No need for a washing machine though. Soak them for three days in denatured alcohol. While doing this, go natural (no socks or underdrawers, by now your body needs to breathe anyway).
I’ve now lost count on how many weeks that adds up to.
Of course, I’ve also lost count on how foolishly I’ve went overboard with this joke.

William I have one word to say WOW
My turn, If it takes a man and a half a day and a half to dig a hole and a half. How long would it take you to dig a half a hole;) ? And having on shellacked boxers is not going to make any difference either.

Well let’s see if I can answer that.
A half a day?
A day and a half?
A day?
A day in a half, halved, on the half shell?
Oh, my brain hurts!
