I am ashamed to say that I didn’t finish my FLW box. I am close, but will not be finished for another week or two. Did anyone else get to do anything for this little inspired competition? When I first thought of this, I figured I had given myself plenty of time and then real life happened. While I had a great summer with my kids, I didn’t get nearly the amount of shop time I thought I would.
I apologize to you all. I still plan to post my project once it is done.

Yeah…I always think I will have more time, because I don’t lose 2 hours a day in transit, and I don’t have to stop for homework enforcement and instruction…but it never works like that…
Someones needs assistance or mediation every 20 minutes or so, then I have to remember what I was doing, then fix or re-do what I mess up due to distraction…the first week they were back in school, I think I did in a week what took 2 or 3 in the summer!

Understand? You got closer than I did. I look at the pictures that I was going to base mine on. That’s as close as I got. If you spent time with your kids, you did the right thing.

Joey, my grandson has taught me that boxes will wait, kids will not. Time is fleeting and life is short. Good choice.

Thanks guys. I have no idea how long it will take me to finish my box. It’s a commission and has to be done by Christmas so I know it will be done before then. Any idea’s on another date. We could always just add them here. Any idea’s, or do we just let this one go and try to come up with something in the future?
