I have finished the tile floor in the bathroom, tomorrow I will install the toilet and cabinets and replace all the trim in the bedroom and bathroom. I still have a couple of doors to hang but since we haven’t purchased them yet, they will have to wait. What does that mean? It means I get to start making saw dust instead of sheetrock dust. I stopped by the woodworking store in my area today after we took returned some unused tile to the big orange box. I picked up 2 shorts. One of bloodwood and one of purple heart. I have decided to make everyone a nice little box for their glasses. I saw a post on here a couple days ago and the light bulb came on. In addition to that I am going to be making two laptop trays. I am thinking about doing some lamination work on these for a couple of reasons. I want them to be really cool looking and have a certain flow in the design. It is a lot easier to bend thin strips and I thing the opposing colors of the woods I am going to use will add to this. Pictures will be coming soon.

here is a picture of tile work. I will put up a picture of the finished bath here. It isn’t really woodworking but getting it done gets me in my shop and my wife OK with me buying more wood.

I just finished a bathroom about the same size. I completely gutted it, walls and all. It was my first time laying tile, however it was not as intricate as yours. I missed my shop for more than a week and it is nice to have the wife pleased and be back into the shop.
