A few modifications have been made to the project. The plan is laid out. So we started off by cutting the side panels for the columns we've added. I know you didn't see columns in the pictures from before but that is the main addition besides lengthening the lower cabinet to accommodate for more table space. The panels are cut and everything is as square as possible. Most of the wood was delivered bent so we'll have to do some fidgeting a little later. Ok we've also used the dido blade to create channels in the wood to construct the columns.
These pictures are borrowing but they'll get better later.

I was very excited at the end of this week. I've basically completed the four outer columns of the hutch and cabinet. I know it might be difficult to visualize what columns are doing in the project, but remember I made some modifications. It might also seem like things are moving slowly but my teacher is a perfectionist, which is what you need to be in this line of work. As you can see in the first few pictures there are lots of clamps. Clamps where important in this project because even though i purchased grade A plys, most of the wood was bent. Because of the imperfections i learned a lot about cutting bent wood and how bent wood effects the end result. At the end i called on clamps to help in the persuasion of straightening out the wood while the glue drys.
